The “Albatros II” cruise boat is perfect for those who wish to feel in tune with the authentic Greek culture and tradition.

This traditional handcrafted wooden boat is one of the last hulls built in the historic shipyard of Kavala in 1990. It is a traditional Greek sailing vessel, one of the very few of its size remaining in Greece built specifically for the Aegean Sea based on Greek tradition.

It was purchased by our company Aegean Ventures and underwent a complete renovation in 2024. Added to our fleet, it is of equally significant value as our historic Sofia Star.

Our vessels carry out daily excursions with absolute safety as they are seaworthy. Our captains and founders, Panagiotis Faroupos, has fifty years of experience, as does his son Dimitrios with twenty-five years of experience, and along with our staff are looking forward to welcome you aboard.

Our handmade and specially designed for Cyclades weather cruise boats, are in accordance to strict safety regulations approved by the Greek Ministry of Shipping and each of them is fully equipped with all modern safety equipment such as certified life jackets, lifeboats, visual /sound alert devises GPS system and an inflatable boat. Also as authorized by the local harbor authorities our boats have been declared safe and approved for sailing under all weather conditions due to their design, size, and overall stability.
